Welcome to the first episode of our MSC Seaside vlog series.
We began our adventure by staying at Miami for 2 nights, here we sampled some local food at Española Way and took a stroll down Ocean Drive.
The following day we took a hop on hop off bus to see notable famous sights such as the Wynwood Walls, Bayside Marketplace and Little Havana. The night was topped off with a visit to Time Out Market Miami!
Our seven night cruise was on the MSC Seaside and included stops at:
St Thomas – Here we visited Magens Bay Beach and took the SkyRide to Paradise Point
Nassau – We walked through the town and made our way to Long Wharf Beach
Ocean Cay – Our final port of call, Ocean Cay – MSC Marine Reserve..
Please remember to like the video and subscribe to the channel as we have lots more to come!

MSC Seaside – The ship that follows the sun
From MSC: “MSC Seaside rewrites the rule book of cruise ship design, blending indoor and outdoor areas to connect you with the sea like never before. Circling the entire ship as low as Deck 8 is a unique seafront promenade lined with places to eat, drink, shop, swim and sunbathe. And you can enjoy more superb views from the two-deck glass-walled atrium and panoramic elevators.”
From MSC “Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve is MSC Cruises’ new private island located in The Bahamas that features uninterrupted sweeping views of crystal blue waters and over two miles of pristine beachfront spread across eight world class beaches allowing guests to guests to connect with the natural environment and its beauty, feel the warmth, fun, and hospitality of the Bahamian spirit and immerse themselves in an ecologically-intelligent atmosphere.
Ocean Cay is founded on a deep commitment to ecological principles that shape everything from how the venues are built and how the island is run, to the kinds of activities featured on the island.”
About MSC Cruises
MSC Cruises, part of the MSC Group, is the Swiss-based, world’s largest privately-owned cruise line and brand market leader in Europe, South America, South Africa and the Gulf, sailing year-round in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Seasonal itineraries cover northern Europe, the Atlantic Ocean, Cuba and the French Antilles, South America, southern Africa, China, Japan, and Abu Dhabi, Dubai and India.
The MSC Cruises experience embodies the elegant side of the Mediterranean to create unique and unforgettable emotions for guests, through discovery of the world’s cultures, beauties and tastes.
Since 2014, MSC Cruises launched an investment plan to support the second phase of its growth through the order of five ships of the Meraviglia Class and four others of the Seaside Class. In April 2016 the Company announcement it would build a further four World Class ships, each with next-generation LNG propulsion technology.
We started cruising in 2014 by doing a mini break on P&O Aurora.
We like making videos of our cruises, they may not be to everyone’s tastes but they are our way of remembering the great times we’ve had, so please keep this in mind – we are not professionals and the complete video is shot and edited on an iPhone.
We may not be the youngest cruisers but we are trying to break the stereotype that cruising is for retired people.
On a cruise you will normally find us wondering around the ship taking in the atmosphere (and working our way through the cocktails). Make sure follow us on social media, the links are below.
