Gremlin rating: Would certainly come back (actually, we did – this was our second time).
Beach life, eating out and keeping a gremlin entertained in Torremolinos, in Spain’s Costa del Sol.
Lots of flights from lots of places in Europe and some in other continents (Air Transat and WestJet fly to Malaga), located about EUR 25 from the Malaga airport by taxi (under EUR 5 by train). More hotels than you can count, some at under EUR 100 per room per night, including breakfast for 3 and taxes (check out the Pez Espada in our previous video).
Masses of cafes, restaurants and bars, all welcome children (assume about EUR 50 for a cafe lunch for 3 and between EUR 80 and 100 for dinner for 3, wine for those old enough included).
Guaranteed t-shirt and shorts weather even in January, and if you’re ready to brave the sea you’ll have the beach to yourselves (or you can just take the beach without the bathing).
Not to mention some killer fish you can feed…
